Stuffed sardines and lobster tagliatelle were excellent however the vongole pasta were just okay (the clams itself were good and fresh but did not really like the sauce use for the pasta)
Incredible resteraunt. If you are in Florence do not skip!!! Make sure to get the gnhocci!!!! It was delicious! 10/10
Perfect relation quality - price. They have a daily menú for 15€ which is perfect and portions are really big.
It's one of the restaurants where they will give you also saulty bread (i don't like tuscan bread)
I ordered:
- Zuppa toscana (really fresh and good)
- Turkey made in the oven with potatoes
The service is friendly, specially Agnesse Who took care of us when we went for lunch everyday.
I will go back for sure.
Staying at the Starhotels Michelangelo, we found this gem just a short, easy walk away. The food was excellent, and the server was so polite, patient, and cheerful. Definitely a good choice!! Don't get disappointed if it looks like there are no tables available. Ask! There is another room in the back ;-)
First time: perfectly cooked baccala (fresh cod, not to be confused with salted cod) in a spicy tomato sauce. Light, crispy cod filet pieces in a slightly spicy tomato sauce with chick peas in olive oil as a side dish. Cheese cake with fruits for dessert.
2nd time: Octopus with potato cream, ginger and citrus, bisteak with porcini mushrooms, white beans in garlic sauce, dessert: mascarpone filled cannoli with toasted pistachios. This is a family owned restaurant and the staff/owners answered our questions about ingredients and preparations enthusiastically. Very enjoyable experience, so good we came 2 nights in a row.
Fantastic lunch here with a outstanding Burrata & prosciutto, wine, pasta with sausage bolenese. Service was friendly and efficient, one of the staff took a relatively fussy newborn from the mom and walked it around the restaurant in her as while the mom ate, giving the parents, as well of the restaurant's customers more peace.
This is a wonderful local restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The lobster tagiatelle was divine. The seafood gnocchi was delicious and came with a generous portion of clams, mussels and octopus. The staff were kind and welcoming. We would definitely go again! 🤗❤️ …
Husband is your server, and wife is the chef. Reasonably priced, super friendly and the food was a delight. Try anything with boar or beef as it’s all locally sourced and fantastic.
